View Full Version : Parameters not letting us edit

Here is something I got from a bud using Revit and I cannot figure it out:
Brian loaded the BMA30x42 border in his project and there are some of the field that show up as red text that want let you edit them, mainly the partner, project manager and the address and owner. I created a new project and loaded the same border and everything can be edited? I am lost!?

Sounds to me like they are Shared parameters that they made i the title block, but they didnt get loaded in to the project parameters. Settings > Project Parameters > New > load in the parameters, and they should turn Blue...

I know that they were in there because I set up the default template for them.
Could he have removed them somehow in this one project?

You can certainly remove them, although i dont know that somenoe could accidentally come across the project parameter dialogue and remove items...
Any chance instead of using the parameters you put in the template, they made other parameters instead? I doubt it, since you said its working fine for you...
But regardless of how it happened, tell them to check Project Parameters and see if theyre listed there...
