Can you hide groups in a plan view? I want to create a Key Plan and hide the interior walls. Can this be done?

I think you'll have to use workgroups, i.e. place all the interior walls in a workgroup.

Thanks. I traced the plan w/ detail lines and copied it into a drafting view, scaled it and opened a view on a sheet to create my Key plan.

Worksets is the best answer, but a workaround that might actually work better is to create a new area scheme, set your area boundary line visibility to be a very heavy line, then pick you exterior walls. now it will change when you move your walls and you should be able to duplicate it as many times as you want.

Thanks for the reply. I will try it.

I tried the are boundry scheme. The Area lines do not close. How do you get the lines to close?

You should be able to trim the boundary lines if you use a rentable area scheme.

Thanks. I just outlined a building plan and copied and pasted in a drafting view. It worked fine. Thanks for all the help.
