I figured this topic would be best in this section of the forums so here it goes.
My question is this: LOL
Is there a certain designed power cord for the PC that has those fancy screws that would inhibit the cord from being pulled out inadvertently from the back of the box. I am a tall guy and I stretch my legs out from time to time, and I recently accidentally pulled my power cord out from the back of my PC ( no back-up system, tower is on the floor). Yeah I probably could arrange them not to be yank on, but I do have a mess off app keys, and extra data cords and sound cords to deal with. LOL I would think that the manufactures of PC would have put these fancy screws on the power cord, instead of every other cord that it has, since it is ya know the most important cord that you don't want to be yanked out of the back of the PC. :) It must be a miss communication between the manufactures of the power supply, and the makers of the cords?
Is there a power source that has this built in to the power sorce frame, so you can use a power cord that will plug in and than be screwed in to the back of the PC?
I wonder if the screws were a safety issue when you get a virus or someone hacks into your PC you can reach around and yank out your cord? LOL
Wait, I could make millions on a new designed power cord. LOL
