Temporary Dimensions

This feels like an easy question, but since I can't find it:

I have a laptop that I run Revit on. I would like to setup my snaps so that when I'm placing a door the dimension snaps will jump every 1/2" for temporary dimensions. The setting isn't the problem, the issue is that these temporary dimensions are so far off of the model when I zoom in that I can't read them anymore (they go right off my screen when I zoom in far enough to activate 1/2" intervals).

Is there a setting I'm missing to change this?

Unless I hear differently I'll take a no response as "It's a graphics issue, there isn't a way". Sadly I figured as much but had to ask.

Temp dimension accuracy is determined by zoom level, so no unfortunately I think we're stuck with it the way it is.
