Is it possible to apply a material parameter to the 3d people found in the standard revit library? When rendering people the only effect we have been able to produce is a grey tone. Is there any other way or is grey the only way?
Thanks

The RPC people are photo realistic content. Refer renderings in the Gallery for examples.
It sounds as though your paths may not be pointing Revit to the correct folder for RPC content.
Under Options _ Rendering tab, you need to have the correct paths for the Accurender Resource location and the rendering materials directory.
If you have the paths correct, then try closing and reopening a session as that may be the problem.
If that doesn't do it, try Increasing the number of transparency bounces.

I think you are refering to the Blocks and Materials people included with Revit, these are dwg files converted to revit and have materials mapped to them thru the bmcd2ar3 folders. YOu should have that pathed in your rendering settings. If you downloaded revit from the internet you may not have downloaded and installed these materials, if you have the cd they are done automatically. You can find the materials at autodesks website, they are the web library materials.cab
