Cut & Fill Problem

Hi everyone,

I'm a very new user of this program (Revit Building 9.1) and this is also my first post on this forum so I hope I'm posting this in the right place.

Anyway I am using the 'Graded Region' tool to select points around the edges of my platform to change the elevation of the platform to a height different to that of the natural ground level/the top of my cut embankment. However, I can only select about 5 points around the edge of my platform before a message comes up saying ' The Site Surface failed to triangulate'.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Its one of those "whateverrrr" errors. I dont exactly know why it happens. In the visibilty/graphics settings for your view i think you can turn on the triangulation so you can see if there are any overly complicated spots. All of the dots are connected by triangles to form a mesh surface. Try turning it on while editing to see if it revels anything.
