Visible setting only works in plan and 3D????

I have created several, (a load of work) families that use the new visible "off" and "on" setting, the sections through these door families show everything no matter what I set them to (off or on).Surely there is no way at all that I would set somethings visibility to be off and expect it to still appear in sections or am I missing something?....

Yep, same problem but in sections. It is a little upsetting as I have put in a lot of work to these families. The only solution is to double my efforts and create a detail familiy to place in sections, which seems a huge waste of effort really....
