64 bit os compatible??

Still fumbling thru trying to get MEP2008 up & running. Can anyone tell me why it doesn't seem to want to install onto a 64 bit os?

64 Bit Operating Systems are not supported with Revit MEP, or any other Revit product at this time, as Revit is currently a 32-bit application. This is clearly stated in our System Requirements Did somebody tell you otherwise?

While it is my understanding that you should be able to install Revit MEP 2008 on a 64 Bit OS and run it in 32 Bit emulation mode, that environment is not tested in any way by our product team (hence, unsupported), so any problems you have cannot be supported by us.
