Hellooooo All,
Having lurked on this board for years now (fond memories of zoog), I am finally going to post something as I am finally in an office that is committed to Revit, and I finally have a question worth asking...lol.
So...you know those title blocks. The ones with, say, 10 divisions on top (numbered 1-10) and 8 divisions down the side (lettered A-H) and then the drawing title numbers are derived from the location of the detail head in the that matrix. Resulting in details call out somethings like this: C8/A101. Well, what I am wondering if there would be a way to have there detail tag automatically know where it is relation to this grid and number itself correctly.
I am well aware I am out of my depth just yet, and realize that there would be a bit of family creation magic to get this to work (if at all). I also wanted to keep my mind out of the rabbit hole if it's impossible. All I want to know is "Is the above scenario feasible and what keywords would be helpful in figuring out how to get there"
Thanks,
Drew Jones
