Has anyone figured out how to control the visibility of generic text labels nested into families?
I've created an electrical switch family which uses type labels to designate a switch as either standard (-), 3-way (3), and dimmer (D).
Because both default switches and countertop outlets are located 48" A.F.F., and I would like to show outlets only on the floor plan, and switches only on the reflected ceiling plan, I have configured their respective symbols to be separate sub-categories of Electrical Fixtures so that I can turn their visibility on and off independantly.
The problem is that since the switch labels are generic text, I am unable to assign a parameter to them to control their visibility, hence I have seemingly unexplained -'s, 3's and D's visible throughout my electrical floor plans.
Any ideas on how to correct this would be appreciated.
