hi,
needed help on two issues.
1. can we create a door/window with the plaster wrapping up the way shown in image attached named project1.jpg.
2. is there a way for us to reduce the text box size..this would help in details that have a small text size..and they would also help in making the arrowheads clearer.

I have no idea why your text box is so big . But as for the window you can certainly add any info you need to a door/window family. It will take you some trial and error to see what parameters you need to control. Bascially I would start with a ref.plane locked to the exterior face of the wall(in the window family editor) then add sweeps and extrusiosns with the parameters you need to control. Note for simple wrapping of the finish of a wall you just need to add a ref. plane at the location you want the finish to wrap to and edit its property and chose the box for wall closure. then make sure you wall type is set to wrap at inserts.
depending on how much wall you need to remove you may need to make your openings out of voids vs. the opening tool.

thanx...that helped.
can anyone please help with the text box...is there any way we can resize it?
and with regard to the room bounding, will that affect the area boundary also?
which will help in the area boundary automatically taking the centerline at the openings...

Did you copy/paste text into it ? If so check if you have any space in there.

If you just recreate the text is the box the same large size? If so I'd try a diff font. Or does your text style have a large tab setting?

What is the text height reduced to?
As far as the area vs. room boundary lines, no they are not related. The centerline location of the area boundary is relative to its adjacencies. Here are some similar threads on area boundaries that may help:
