Hi!

I having a hard time with slabs in Revit and I want some help, please.
I´m trying to make a slab like one I did below but this time much bigger (100m x 50m or 4000" x 2000") and Revit stops respond.
I used Modeling>Create>Floor to make them.

Is there any other lighter way to make it?

Thank you for attention.

Did you use any voids in creating the floor. Could you post the file of the floor only. How big are your beams and voids.

You could use a beam system and tapered beams with a thin floor slab above it. You'd need to use join geometry for sections to read correctly. I guess it would boil down to how many floors and sections would need JG. Otherwise a floor hosted family (void, imagine the forms used) and a floor of the overall thickness might perform a bit better than an in-place family.

Is it really important to see the voids in camera views, or will you just use it in the sections? In place family could also create problems if the floor changes slightly and some of the voids are then outside the floor.
