I thought a reveal could cut a sweep?

I thought I had placed a sweep in a wall type and then cut part of that sweep with a reveal also in the wall type. Is this not possible? I have a brick wainscot on a tilt-up concrete wall, with several reveals in the brick coursing. I thought I could do this with a generic brick wainscot profile and then a standard brick course reveal profile, but it doesn't seem to be working. I set the sweep to Cuttable, but the reveal will only cut the wall itself, not the sweep.

I was trying to avoid having to make a project-specific profile with the reveals built in, but it looks like I might have to, unless I'm missing something else?

I think the sweep and reveal actions only apply to the host itself (the wall) ... not to one another. The cuttable option means that it can be cut by other host-based items outside of editing the wall structure (host sweep tools).
