3D View Exporting

Is there a process to export individual 3D views to .dxf format? I'm trying to isolate by floor a 3D view and export for engineering analysis, but it exports the entire view instead of the selected area.

You sure can. What you need to do is create a 3d sectional view of the floor or area you want and then export to dxf, otherwise it will export the whole model. The attached pictures are the first floor of a 38 floor office building in Revit and exported to dxf.
