Our team is doing all of our project documentation in revit, but our consultants are using autocad. Recently, we needed to relocate the (0,0) origin point of the project. In revit, I've done the following commands: tools --> project position/orientation --> relocate this project. In revit, everything seems to read fine. I'm able to take a spot elevation from the new project origin and it reads as 0,0. The problem occurs when I export to AutoCAD - the 0,0 is still at the old origin point. I'm able to fix this by going into each AutoCAD file and correcting the world 0,0, but this is not an option when dealing with a set of 100+ drawings. I need the adjusted project origin in revit to read through to the AutoCAD backgrounds without having to make any adjustments in AutoCAD. Any suggestions?
