Is there any way to change the image at the startup of Revit Architecture 2008?

Don't think so. And why would you want to bother?

I just do not like the image, the perspective is too extreme and the main reason is that the image does not go with the type of architecture that our company provides. So I was thinking to put an image of our own, so when we open revit in front of a client, it would tell different story, even puting an image of the client's project would be fantastic!!!.

Nothing better to do I guess.

Thanks for joining us... ha ha

So I guess I'm the only one that finds this image too annoying, at least a solid color is not as distracting to me anyway.

I actually don't care for the new box design, but it seems to be fairly popular. But to answer your question, no there isn't any way to change the image.

Its possible to replace it, but it might be against the EULA for me to tell you how to do it. ;)

I know. I fret daily about that image. Can't get a thing done. ;)

The image does not particularly bother me but it is a bit hypocritical. The image graphics are pretty slick but once you get into the program it's quite a different story. On the positive side, however, they did bother to make some much needed improvements this release. For me the ability to easily disappear elements and categories for plotting was a biggie. Shows they can if they will. Maybe even coming around.
