I have created a bunch of sections, some being live sections and some being referenced sections from either old .dwg details or Revit 2D drafting views. I also have sections that ref: a live view. How do I differentiate between a live section and a ref: section, without drilling down into the type parameters or the section mark and fishing around to see what it is referencing or not? When I look at the plan the sections look all the same, with regards to color and section type. Is there a way to change the color or change the type of section mark to signify that it is not a live 3D section and only a 2D drafting view or a .dwg detail?

For example: start the section command. Don't draw anything yet, and look to the right of your type selector (top of drawing area). You should see a check box for "reference other view". Choose from the flyout database of views in the project (unfortunately everything from details to wall sections are all in the list...gets confusing sometimes). Cheers!
