View Full Version : Lines making up Tables are not behaving themselves when using the move command

Hello,
One of my guys made an interesting discovery today regarding Tables. He had created a Table in the middle of the drawing, filled it all in with the relevant info then tried to move it.
He discovered that when he tried to move the Table all the lines 'vanished'. The Text was ok but the lines had all disapeared. Well not quite. I had a look at the problem and noticed a little red dot in the upper left corner of where the whole table should be. I zoomed in to look closer and there were the lines.
Somehow the lines which made up the Table had shrunk or been scaled down to the point where they were not readily visible.
Does anyone have any idea why this should have happened? I have used Tables many time and moved them all over the place without them going poof.
Thanks
Don

Hi

What version of AutoCAD does this particular issue / problem occur in?

If other AutoCAD users open the same DWG file and perform the same actions, do they get the same results?

Is it possible to post an example drawing file, that exhibits the behaviour you have described above...

Have a good one, Mike

Good morning,
Sorry to have taken so long to get back to you. We are still using 2006 and I tried opening the file on my system and I had the same problem.
Thanks
Don
