Hi,

I have a couple of odd things happening in 3D.

1. In plan view sometimes if I want to rotate a 3D object it will rotate at a strange angle.

2. Sometimes when using "visual styles" "Conceptual" the drawing rotates to some strange angle and break object apart. I thought I needed more ram so I increase the ram from 500m to 1.5 G and it still does it.

Do you have your UCS set to a compatible orientation for the rotate?

If you have dynamic UCS enabled it tries to orient to objects in your drawing which is often a pain.

Otherwise try using the actual 3D rotate command.

Visual styles I can't help with.

If I had of pressed Control D I could have been in Dynamic UCS. Yesterday I had inserted a 2D block and have discovered that it is on an angle. This angle looks like it aligns with the pitch of the 3D roof above.
