Hello,

I'm not sure if this is really a CAD question or a more general computer hardware question but here goes.......

I just installed an ancient Canon BJC 1000 printer on my computer - prints in other programs but not in AutoCad 2000! I get the message -

"The output to the device must be spooled through a system printer because of a conflict over an I/O port. The HDI hardware configuration will not take effect. Some system printers could possibly mess up the output. To allow direct connection to the port, all system printers must be reconfigured to not use that port. "

And then the plot regeneration pop-up makes like something will print, my printer spools to 100% and then.........nothing.

Help!

thanks in advance -
lynda
