Help with adding a HVAC well on a hip roof

I'm looking for some help with adding a HVAC well to a hip roof. I'm not sure what is the best way to go around doing this. I was thinking about making a hip roof and then using shaft opening, then adding a floor and wall for the side of the well. Is there a better way of doing this?

I am using the new Revit Architecture 2008

You got it. Or you can make the walls for the well first, then edit the roof sketch to include those so it cuts out, but the shaft idea will work fine too.
