AutoCAD 2006 - user unable to update a Table created with EATTEXT command

hi,
i'm creating a table with EATTEXT (acad2006). but when another computer clicks to update the table, nothing happens. in addition, they have only two options "refresh only" & "edit extraction settings" (neither work). i'm able to update (with all four options visible).

any ideas?

thanx, but neither command helped.
i've also compared all the variables between the the two computers and nothing stands out.
both computers are able export to a csv file, but updating or getting current info is still a no-go.

Have you tried exporting a good AutoCAD profile, then import and set current in the bad users AutoCAD session?
