Door Opening family makes wall jamb line half width

I've been using the "Door-Opening.rfa" to cut openings into my walls. When I do that the jambs appear half the width of the rest of the walls. Its the fill pattern covering over half the line. I tried editing the family and putting model lines at those locations but that doesn't work if I cut a section through an elevation. What can I do to fix the problem?

Why do you have a fill pattern? The opening should do your cut of the walls. I think your problem is there. Try deleting the fill.
