View Full Version : Same notes on different sheets - Newbie question

I've created a set of notes in a drafting view. I've attached a screen shot below. The schedule you see is made up of detail line and text, nothing special. Now I'd like this same set of notes to appear on 10 different sheets and all be linked to the same drafting view. I'm wondering whats the best way to do this. A drafting view appears to only be able to live on one sheet and I really don't want multiple copies of this. If this were AutoCAD I'd wblock this out and xref it into each sheet.

Would turning this into a group and cutting and pasting directly on the sheet be a good way to go?

How would you do this? I'm thinking that drafting view probably isn't the correct place for this information.

Thanks for the help I really appreciate it. The first project is fun

Cut and paste all your info into a legend view. A legend view can go on multiple sheets.

I notice that they still have not fixed the issue of not being able to change the number in the view title when you place a legend on a sheet :banghead:

And not having a 1:1 scale, or being able to cut/copy and then paste a legend between sheets.
