Overidden lineweights

For some reason the lineweights in one elevation only are overriden and I can not adjust them through either changing the objects lineweight (visibility graphics or object styles) or by the lineweight tool. I can draw detail lines and have them display with differing lineweights.

I cannot individually apply graphic overrides (makes sense as V/G has no bearing)

Filters are used but not in relation to the building (used as a means to hide presentation elements - roads, kerbs, light poles)

There are no design options or worksets.

Any ideas.

Revit Architecture 2008. One of the new features I haven't come to grip with yet perhaps?

do you have a sillouette edge on? that is just a stab in the dark. with siloouettes on you can still adjust with the line weight tool
