Has anyone figured out how to change the distance of an arc without changing the radius?

Re: Controlling Arc
No luck trying to stretch it. Maybe you can try creating overlapping arcs and use the rotate parameter and action on one of them, the other would stay put. Set the parameter at the arc center point and move the blue grip to desired point on line.
I found this but it doesn't make much sense? I would have to have a seperate rotate param for each arc segment I wanted to use.

Any more ideas?

I wonder if Torrence's Tool could achieve this:?:

Will, what angle or arc are you wanting to achieve?

Will, what angle or arc are you wanting to achieve?I wanted it for a door swing to achieve 45,90, and 170 deg swings. I need to add other additional vis states and lookups for other data in the block and didn't want to compound the vis states with door swings.

Why not create another lookup Mr Lookup that controls 3 linear parmeters with scale actions, shrinking the arcs so they are sooo wee that you cant see them?

Hey Mr Lookup!! I got it! Create a dim style that appears as an arc, no text, no extention lines etc. create a point para with a stretch, chain it to a rotate para. Works perfectly!

I cant take full credit tho, inspired by CrazyIvan over on Autodesk discussion
