Odd Display of Brick Pattern

I have a segment of a brick wall that, in all views where the brick pattern can be seen, displays the brick differently than all other wall sections of the same wall style. The odd piece displays the surface pattern with dark lines while in all other wall segments, the brick surface pattern is grey - as if it's greyed out. Does anyone know what would cause this?

First thing I would check is that there may be 2 walls in the same place. Could be in different phases and bith displaying.
