Edit Cut Profile

Is there a way to control the line weights when using the Edit Cut Profile tool? The lines are really heavy and I can't seem to find a way to change these. Also when using the linework tool on a floor is there a way to adjust the portion of line you wish to change via a grip or similar options. Right now it seems it will change the whole line without the ability to control it at any point similar to what you are able to in elevation views or other situations.

You are better off using a filled region if you need to control the lineweights, just use invisible lines where the region passes into the object you want to edit the profile of. The only problem with this method is if you need to export to dwg the filled region won't be on the same layer as the object.
