Crop Regions

I did a search trying to find out how to create crop regions. I found plenty info on how to edit, resize, and turn on and off. I have not found anything on how to create them. Could someone point me in the right direction. Usinf RA 2008.

You need to tell Revit to apply a crop region to a view and then decide if you want it visible. There is no separate crop region tool or command, it is a property of every view other than schedules. Take a look at the view control bar at the bottom of a view window (see image).

The one on the left activates a crop region and the one on the right makes it visible.

Now take a look the view properties dialog for a floor plan (see image). Either way you get a crop region in your view. The view control bar just saves you the trouble of opening a dialog box first.
