It would be great if the beam family elevation control allowed you to adjust the Z- direction offset independent if it is linked to the TOP, Bottom, Center or Other vertical justification setting. This is particularly help full when placing wind girts that are WF beam rotated 90 degrees since the top of steel will have no useful meaning relative to the member centerline.
In addition I just realized that the if the member is rotated the Z- direction justification moves the beam horizontally rather than vertically. I did figure out that moving the start and end offsets to the correct elevation does the trick but that doubles the number of adjustments you need to make to move a member.
