I find a issue in Revit 2008 version. How can I turn the floor surface pattern off in Revit 2008? I know we can do it in 9.1 just go to visibility/Graphic and unchecked the surface pattern under floor. I can not find it in Revit 2008. Can anyone tell me where to turn it off? Is this a bug? Thanks for your help!

Right click on the floor, choose override graphics in view and choose element. The expand surface patterns and uncheck the 'visible' box.

you can use the visibility and graphics as well and select the surface pattern column. once the dialogue is up, uncheck visible. same result.

Yeah, surface patterns of all objects can now be controlled, as they made it a column in Visibility/Graphics, instead of just a subcategory under certain object types.

Right click on the floor, choose override graphics in view and choose element. The expand surface patterns and uncheck the 'visible' box.
Just beware, when you go back to the view next month and wonder why all the new floors are still showing their surface patterns and the old ones aren't...
