I'm sure the answer is somewhere in the forums, but i couldn't find anything. I would like to be able to turn an edge invisible (e.g. a seam between two unjoined walls). I was assuming i could define an invisible linestyle (no color), then apply that to the edge in question with the lineworks tool.
However, i found that linestyles with no color defined will display as black. Changing the color to match the surface material would work in some cases, but definitely not in a elevation or perspective with shadows on.
I did try to define my invisible linestyle, then turn it's subcategory off in the respective views, but this only turns off actual lines, not object edges adjusted with the linework tool. (which is probably the most consistent behaviour).
Am I missing something?
