Hi there,

Okay, I'm trying to create a roof that slopes to a point. Everytime I do, not only does it not behave how I'm trying to get it to behave, it also messes up one of my other roofs.
Attached are two images, one that shows how it is messing up, the other how I want it.
Can someone help me figure out the best way to get what I want?
Thanks!

First of all the sloped area in the 'L will have to be a different angle. Revit does not figure everything out. Trial and error. Think about the roof at the L the roof slope is much longer then the regular hips. When you draw 2d you just make things line up the way you want in the 3d world there is a huge difference.

For the slope in the L you have a couple of choices to calculate the slope. I'd figure out what the rise is based on the wings. Then I'd use a slope arrow to define the height from eave to top.
