View Full Version : Matchlines - Tagging the view and Matchline Appearance

2 quick questions regarding the matchline command:

1. When you change the the appearance of the line to say a thick, gray (shaded), dashed line, is there a way to keep it from hiding the model objects it passes over? (I guess this also applies to detail lines in general)

2. When placing the default View Reference tag, it doesnt really seem to do anything once a dependent view is tagged. It just continues to say REF. What am I doing wrong?

I don't know about item 1, but if your template file was from a previous version then it has no view reference tag loaded. When you open or upgrade such a template to 2008, it doesn't automatically go an get the tag and load it for you.

So, do a load from library and find the View Reference annotation family and load it into your project. Then, select an instance of the view reference annotation in your project, go to it's type properties, and select the newly loaded annotation family from the drop down menu. Fixed...
