Auto Incremental numbering in a Family

Is there a way to make a family that will have a parameter that will increase by one every time you create an instance? For example, I would like a specialty equipment field that will insert with a 1 the first time I insert it, 2 the second time, 3 the third, etc....

Then to be able to create a tag that will tag it. Want it to act just like a door really.

Interesting... I tried importing a specialty equip family, and making the Mark Value 1 for ths first one, thinking that might set off the sequential numbering, as it does with doors. That doesnt seem to be the case though.
