Just as the door number can be picked from the adjacent room number of the space, the keyside room number should also be available. The grip could be similar in function to the door number grip. This works wonders where the keyside is not obvious.

We don't use room numbers for door numbering, but it would be nice to be able to use the same functionality to fill in the "TO" and "FROM" fields of a door schedule.

Having a second location grip for doors would be nice for reading in the key side room number or for constructing a schedule that lists both the to and from rooms/numbers [basically the same thing]. I suppose they would have to add a second location property type, and give that grip a distinctive shape.

If each room only has one "from" space, you could add a location properties for the "from" space room name and number to your "to" spaces, and then put the location grip for the "to" spaces in the "from" spaces. Then the door coud have location properties to read in both sets of room names and numbers. Unfortunately, a room at the corner of two intersecting corridors with at least one door into each corridor would not be able to pull in the "from" space data from both corridors.
