over hang problem

ok im new to revit. and i cant get the overhang on a roof can someone explain to me how to do it?

You can create an overhang in a number of ways but if you are creating a footprint roof using the 'pick walls' option then you can look on the option bar and enter the distance you want in the overhang box.

Also keep in mind that you can create a sketch for the roof rather than picking walls and create the outline wherever you'd like.
