Created a blend/curved mass and applied a wall face to it with two different horizontal line patterns. Guess what? No can do! Evidently Revit does not allow this type of work.

Error:

"Vertically compound wall type features sweep, reveals, or split layers are not supported on non-vertical face. Conside using a boring design because we think you should not be doing anything other than straight walls."

This is a real sad commentary on Revit modeling capabilities.

Can you post a picture of desired result? You could create 2 mass instances (copy your mass instance in place, then cut one instance at desired split location, cut another to supplement the first, apply two walls).
I agree that be able to model such condition easier would be good enhancement, especially if split line is horizontal. How would you dimension or otherwise locate split line in your case?

Here is the mass in question, it has a curved exterior wall with a sloping glass in fill on the left. The surrounding wall faces have the correct pattern applied

"Vertically compound wall type features sweeps, reveals, or split layers are not supported on non-vertical face. Consider using a simplified type."

Agree... not much fun making special wall types per project to find they can only be used in a vertical position.

Any other option out there besides making separate masses to guide each wall type... serious efficiency improvement opp here.
