Anyone ever noticed that text in linked AutoCAD files displays as halftoned when Display Model is set to As underlay in the View Properties dialog box?

No, i avoid AutoCAD files :-)

All geometry set to "underlay" will half tone...doens't matter if its Revit, DWG, or anything else.

But it's just the text that is grey, the rest of the linked DWG displays as expected. I haven't tried it in 2008 yet, maybe it's just an undocumented 'feature' of 9.1?

Not a big deal, the model was turned off in those views, it was just the linked detail being displayed.
