This works for 9.1. We haven't rolled out 2008, so someone will need to give it a go or maybe the problem has been fixed.
Curved walls in section have always been a problem due to surface patterns. No matter how small the offset for the far clip plane (even reducing to 1/8") the surface pattern for curved walls seems to print to the extents of the crop region. This is all the more frustrating because it looks correct on your sheet, and it's only in print preview or when the print is complete that you notice a problem (clear break with Revit's standard WYSIWYG).
Looks as if when you turn on shadows in your section view, the problem goes away. There is no visible change to the section on your sheet, but when printing the offending surface pattern beyond is no more.
