In creating a stair with 0 nosing, the unit run and total run is correct. But when I include a nosing, the unit run and overall run is increased by the width of the nosing. Revit is calculating the overall tread width (run) as the run instead of continuing to calculate the distance from face of riser to the face of riser. this results in a stair buried into the upper floor by the width of the nosing.
I first reprorted this to support and was acknowledged as a bug. In checking with support later, I was told this is the way it works. What am I missing.
