Double Footing...

I have a block foundation wall that goes all the way down to the footing, the same wall has furring and stops at the concrete slab of the room, so I edited the wall to stop the furring at the concrete slab, but when I created the footing with structural wall, it creates two footings, one at the bottom of the furring and one at the bottom of the concrete, is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

I had a situation a while back that produced two footings as well. The footing tool is handy for simple situations. You can just build the footers with the wall tool or a sweep instead of the footer tool.

Yes, that it is a good way to do it, but still why do we have a tool that just does not work?
