Is this a bug or me?

vista business,
Revit Arch, build 20070607_1700

multiple select changes object type:

new project from default template, load furniture "cabinet file 2 drawer" and "chair corbu", add one of each and the standard desk that is in the default template.

select all of these, open the properties, then open the type parameters, (at this point for me, I see family is blank, good, but type says 15" x 18" (bad)) Pick OK 2x back to drawing window, all of the furniture is now file cabinets, just like magic

This happens in Revit 2008 in Win XP also. The element properties work right, but when you go to edit the type properties, thats when it messes up. I think the easy fix to this would be to make the Edit/New button not accessible if multiple types of families are selected.

Yes, if you have very dissimilar objects in the selection set it is disabled (desk, column, tree).

I don't vote for the easy fix. to edit multiple types (of dissimilar families) is necessary. I guess I could create a schedule to do the data entry like I do everything else in revit, but I was just being lazy
