After getting a correctly coloured glass (green) with a good transparency, looks great in all views except elevation where it revits to its colour, with no transparency, is there a way of displaying glass transparency in Elevation?
Thanks for your help

Transparancy in glass only shows in 3D views. You can make a 3D view into an elevation by activating any 3D view, then go to View>Orient>To Other View and pick the corresponding elevation.

Chris-

Items will not display their transparancy (at least from Accurender) in Elevations, only in 3D views. Your choices are: Override the object Visibility/Graphics in the view (are you in RAC2008?), or make a new 3D view, hit F8, and set the 3D views orientation to the elevation you are trying to create. It will turn the 3D view in to an elevation (and slow down performance) but you will have transparent glass...

EDIT: Scotts too fast for me, lol...

Transparancy in glass only shows in 3D views. You can make a 3D view into an elevation by activating any 3D view, then go to View>Orient>To Other View and pick the corresponding elevation.

This also puts your "presentation" elevations under the 3D views list, so make sure to name it something rational so you can find it. An added benefit is that you get an "elevation" view without an extra elevation symbol.

Best,
