i have attached an image of my problem:

this building has two floor plans with the same settings but one shows the walls grey and the other shows the same walls black. Does anyone know what I'm missing??? I know it's going to be some simple thing i forgot to check but any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you all for your time!

Did you check to see if you're using Coarse or Medium view detail levels?

Brian,
check to make sure someone hasn't done an Override Graphics in View. Also, this could be done with a filter as well.

Brian,

I would also check the phase filter setting, which is sometimes overlooked.

Brian:
I would also check to see:
Assuming they are of same material and view ranges are identical( Cut Plane Location)!
Do they remain different upon applying a different view template back and forth?,
