Strange behavior of generic model opening

Wall is existing, opening created in Phase I. opening is a hole, but in elevation view it has no lines for edges. The lines show up when I change the phase of the opening to existing.

Workaround right now is detail lines. Any thoughts?

Sounds as though the hole is being infilled in the view you're using. Something to do with demolition phase ?

You need to check phase filters and view phases. It can get confusing. :)

If it still doesnt work, post it , or a simple example.

to clarify, I know it's a hole because I see "beyond" through it. Just no edges. Tested the opening in a wall in a brand new project--wall and opening in same phase--and they work as expected. Bug?
