Attached Roof Sweep Issues

Hi,

As you can see on the attached jpg, I've created a roof slab, attached it to another roof slab and then wanted to add a sweep to the attached roof. Turns out the sweep looks fine as long as I'm in the editing/family mode, but once I "Finish Family", the sweep stops according to the magenta outline of the attached roof. Going back and stretching the Sweep Path doesn't seem to work.

Any idea how I could get this to work?

Hi! You might have to do it as several segments (different sweeps) rather then just one long one. I would try to just add a sweep to the portion that is not showing up and see if that works and then proceed from there.

I started with that, and in the end I found out that the roof attachment also works with the magenta outline of the roof slab being far wider/longer than necessary. So a roof can not only stretch to the second roof, it can also recede to it.

After figuring this out, the sweep is no longer a problem since I just have to make the roof outline long enough to create the sweep length I need. Whatever sticks over can be taken care of with a Void Mass.
