Showing a section view from one project in sheet of another.

Is there a way to bring a section view form one project to show in the sheet of another? What are others doing other than using DWG format to duplicate details across projects? Sometimes it helps to have one from which detailing, annotations and repeating components are revised once and show in two or more projects. No one favors the use of a detail book as a solution.

might I suggest that you keep a project "book" of all your standard details, and then use the File - Insert from View command to import the standard details into your project.
