Messed up 3D view

I have an anomaly occurring on our default 3D View for a particular project. The line work keeps showing up as wire frame not matter what. even if we set it for shade with lines the lines are not hidden lines they are wire frame. I have audited the file and still not luck. Any suggestions??

Have you tried deleting that view entirely? then start fresh with a new 3d view from the toolbar?

Oh wow seriously!! One would think to do that first!

Thanks deleting it and recreating it worked!
