topography cut and fill

just wanting some confirmation! In order to get a cut and fill or even a battered edge of the toposurface i use the graded region tool, but to get it to batter at a more steeper slope depends on how far apart my contour points are, or is there another way around this?

You can do a battering at any grade you want (using the "Graded Region" tool) but make sure that you stay within the local regulations. Or use retaining walls...
